The forecast has been for rain and nobody wanted to believe it. Yesterday while I was teaching in the afternoon we had a tremendous storm… and I'd put some things out to dry earlier. I had to wash them again (by hand) and dry them on the radiator in my bedroom.
Today the wind has been blowing hard all morning, and it has begun to rain and to hale. On the horizon there is sunshine, but here, right over the University, the rain is very heavy at the moment. It is a mighty show for the last day of winter, and just what I need as I prepare for my late-morning class.
