Feast of Francis de Sales

Today, the 24th of January, is the feast of Francis de Sales. We had a festive mass this morning in community, and now all the students of the UPS are getting in one last day of cramming before exams start tomorrow. I presided at our community liturgy and invoked the memory of Francis' student years in Padua: "I studied law to please my father, and theology to please myself". Since we have people studying canon law, education and theology in our house, I figured that covered everyone. Hopefully, they are embracing today what Francis called the Eighth Sacrament: study!
