Our brother Michael Lee has been telling us that he is departing on 9 January -- but this morning he clarified (for the first time) that he is departing the USA on 9 January… he is leaving the community tomorrow early! He'll stay among Korean friends and say his goodbyes to them. Ah, blood is thicker than water, even Baptismal water.In any case, we'll have a little going-away party this evening with dinner, even though less than half the community is here to say farewell to Michael Lee. Then tonight some folks connected with the Youth Ministry consultation will start arriving. Ring out the old, bring in the new -- even people.
