Today was filled with airport runs, with John Rasor, Marc Rougeau, John Roche, Nick Reina and myself picking up Salesians from the Bay Area airports and getting them to Don Bosco Hall for the start of the Directors Seminar, which we've entitled Shepherding the Shepherds.
Gael Sullivan opened the conference with evening prayers and a reception at 5:00 - and then conducted the opening session after dinner in the upper room of the Leconte Street Building.
Other good news today: 30 June 2008 marked the end of the 2007-2008 DSPT Annual Fund. With the generosity and support of students, staff and many benefactors, we have surpassed our goal of $550,000 to reach $579,611.27! That is exciting really, in this age of tight money.
